We have become involved in the State Funded (grant) Smooth Operator Program, Aggressive Driver Program, Seat Belt Safety Program; these programs provide additional funding to departments to target aggressive driving on highways, just another tool used to aid in keeping the highways of Duncansville safe. We have been awarded the AAA Highway Traffic Safety Award “platinum award level” (highest level) for many years, for our efforts of prevention and enforcement to make the traffic ways of Duncansville a safe area for motorists and pedestrians.
Each of our officers receives training in various fields to better perform their duties. We are proud to have current or updated training and equipment for our officers.
